Apply For Funding

We encourage teachers at all grade levels, community members and cultural and educational institutions to apply for grant funding for Arts and Humanities enrichment projects in the New Lebanon Central School District. 

All sorts of projects are eligible for funding including, but not limited to:

  • visiting artists
  • dance residencies
  • performances
  • writing workshops
  • field trips
  • special projects
  • special materials and supplies
  • teacher professional development


Various criteria for  funding are listed in the link below.   Projects that are integrated into the curriculum or cross discipline in nature are also welcome and encouraged.

Grant cycles take place on a yearly basis and awards range from $100-$2500.  The grant application process is typically in October of each year and is an easy on-line application process on the website of The Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation.  All applicants are required to obtain a sign off on the application with the principal of the school in which the project is proposed.
